The Dog Swallowed the Fence

Share story The dog ate my homework. Then he vomited over himself. He ran toward me growling like i am dead meat. I threw rocks so we watched it disappear. Suddenly he emerged limping with something stuck in teeth his gut and he began limping away into bushes. The dog had swallowed the entire fence. My mother arrived to see her prized possession gone. My wallet contained only two items and a receipt for a therapist appointment. My car had exploded last year. Nobody knew why it exploded. Everyone suspected my father because he kept laughing when his eyes were wet. Someone had warned that the consequences ranged to financial annihilation. I wondered what father might do now besides cry out loud. Then suddenly my phone rang and my father had stolen all my memories of him. Then he replaced it in his sleep so i woke at his shoulder.
